Ponder On

I blow into the cold air as I stand waiting for the tram. The sun is almost setting, blocked by the tall trees that surround the campus. The temperature begins to drop as the night sets in. I try to brush away the heavy feeling inside me, with little success I might add. Plugging in the iPod, I settle in for a rather long tram ride.

The scene changes as each stop rolls by. Rowdy high school kids get on and off, an elderly couple sits lovingly in one corner and some chirpy uni girls talk loudly towards the front. I drown myself in my music while looking at the changing scenery.

All I know is I left that tram feeling liberated with a sense of enlightenment and realizing that there is indeed more to life.
