Melbourne. Ahhhhhhh it's so nice to finally be here. Freezing as it is, i still love this place. So nice to be surrounded by nice, friendly people and get away from it all. We get bright sunshiney weather everyday which is soo pretty! What's more...there's so much to eat! Asian, italian, mexican, polish you name it, they have it. Had my first good dinner of chinese food yesterday - Lemon Chicken with Fried Rice. HUGE portion and damn was it filling. Worth the money (always a good thing). The chicken was unbelievably crispy and coated with lemon sauce. PLUS that was the first time i saw a bottle of chilli sauce on the table ready to be squeezed and enjoyed. Usually you gottta ask and the amount they give you is near pathetic. Sad but true. Even then, the chilli sauce was horrible. Again i can't help but emphasise on my 90% salt 10% chilli theory...it just screams that! Heh.
Ah and Krispy Kreme, the ever famous doughnuts has made it's appearance in the state of Victoria. And the queues? Just plain beyond what you will imagine. Hordes and hordes of doughnut crazee people willing to queue up for up to THREE hours just to get their 'carbs with holes in it'. Yeah. And me here, from the state if NSW, where Krispy Kreme has been around for SOME TIME.....hasn't even eaten a single one of em. Who's sadder? I think me. =D
